For veterinary professionals

Veterinary careers with BEGHR

Business Executive Group recruits veterinarians, technicians, assistants and clinical leaders for practices hiring across the United States. We are paid by employers and never charge a candidate. Because we talk to practices before a role is advertised, most of what we work on is never posted publicly. Send your resume once and a recruiter checks it against the searches actually running.

Submit your resume

What sending a resume does, and what it does not do

It puts your details in front of the recruiter running our veterinary searches. It is not an application to a named job, it does not create an employment relationship, and it does not commit you to anything. We do not send your resume to an employer unless you tell us we can, and we name the employer before we do.

We are not a job board. We do not post other companies' listings and we do not keep a public list of roles unless we have current openings we are authorized to show. Right now we have no public listings, so the resume route is how to reach us.

Roles we recruit

The veterinary roles BEGHR searches for

Associate veterinarian

Permanent general-practice roles, from first job out of school to experienced clinician.

Emergency veterinarian

Urgent and after-hours appointments, with the schedule and support set out before you interview.

Medical director

Clinical leadership with defined authority, protected leadership time and a named reporting line.

Veterinary specialist

Discipline-specific roles where the equipment, nursing support and referral model are already clear.

Veterinary surgeon

Surgical caseload roles, including roles that mix surgery with general practice.

Regional and multi-site leadership

Roles covering several practices, with the travel and remit stated up front.

Veterinary technician

Credentialed and non-credentialed technician roles across general practice, emergency and specialty.

Veterinary assistant

Assistant roles supporting the clinical team, including entry points into veterinary medicine.

Veterinary receptionist

Client-facing roles running scheduling, intake and practice-management systems.

If your discipline is not on this list, send your details anyway and say what you do. We would rather tell you honestly that we are not running that search than guess.

How it works after you send it

  1. A recruiter reads what you sent and checks it against the searches currently open.
  2. If something fits, we contact you, describe the practice, the schedule, the caseload and the compensation structure, and you decide whether you want to be put forward.
  3. Only after you agree do we send your details to that employer. You interview with the practice and, if you take the role, the practice employs you directly. We are paid by the employer, never by you.
  4. If nothing fits yet, we keep your details for the period set out in the privacy notice and come back to you when a relevant search opens.

What BEGHR holds about you, and your choices

Consent to be contacted is required before we can hold anything. Allowing us to share your details with a named employer is a separate, optional yes, and you can say no to it and still talk to us. Your record is kept for 24 months from the last contact and then deleted. We never send your name, email address, phone number, resume, licence details or pay expectation to Google Analytics or any other analytics tool.

Email sales@beghr.com to see what we hold, correct it, stop contact or have it deleted.

Not on the list? Send your resume anyway and say where you want to work. Our searches are defined by where the employer is, not by which of our websites you landed on.

Are you an employer, not a candidate?

If you are hiring for a veterinary practice rather than looking for a role, the employer side is where the recruiting service, the engagement scope and the pricing request live.

Questions veterinary professionals ask us

Do you charge veterinarians anything?

No. The employer pays the placement fee. BEGHR never charges a candidate, for any role, at any stage.

Do you have current openings I can look at?

Only when an employer has authorized us to publish one. We are not a job board and we do not republish other companies’ listings, so there is often nothing public even while searches are running. Sending your resume is how you reach the searches that are not advertised.

Who pays BEGHR, and why does that matter to me?

The employer does. It matters because it tells you what a recruiter can and cannot do for you: we are engaged by practices, the practice interviews you, and the practice makes the hiring decision.

Will my current employer find out?

Not from us. We do not send your details to any employer without your agreement, and we name the employer before we send anything.

What happens to my resume after I send it?

It goes onto a BEGHR candidate record so a recruiter can match it against live searches. It is stored privately, it is not published anywhere, and it is not shared with an employer unless you say yes to that separately.

How long do you keep my details?

Twenty-four months from the last time you contacted us or we contacted you, then the record and the resume file are deleted. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

How do I see, correct or delete what you hold about me?

Email sales@beghr.com. You can ask what is held, have it corrected, stop contact, or have it deleted.

Do you place veterinary technicians, assistants and receptionists?

Yes. We place support roles as well as DVM roles. Tell us which role you are trained for and we will match it against what we are running.

Do you have an office in my city?

No. BEGHR is headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth and recruits nationally and remotely. Our city websites describe the markets we recruit into, not offices we keep there.

Do I need a resume file to contact you?

No. The file is optional. Your name, email address, the role you want and where you want to work is enough to start a conversation.

Which states do you recruit in?

All of them. Searches are defined by where the employer is, so tell us the states you are licensed in and the geography you would actually work in or move to.

What if I am not licensed in the state where the role is?

Say so when you send your details. Licensure and reciprocity vary by state, and whether it works depends on the role and the employer’s timeline, so we would rather raise it before an introduction than after.

How quickly will someone contact me?

We cannot promise a timeline, because it depends on whether a live search matches what you sent. If nothing fits yet we keep your details and come back when a relevant search opens.

Is sending a resume an application to a specific job?

No. It is not an application to a named role, it does not create an employment relationship, and it does not commit you to anything.
